Jealousy is a very strong emotion. It is often considered as a bad emotion because it never benefits any relationship. It only gives bad and wrong sight to look at things. Dealing with Jealousy is very simple, only one has to realise the thoughts which will harm the relationship should be avoided. Jealousy is often linked with envy. The meaning of these two words is very different. Jealousy means when you are willing to have something what the other person has, but envy means when you do not want the other person to have something what you already have.

Jealousy to a certain level is healthy enough, but sometimes a person crosses that level and starts behaving in the wrong way. Dealing with jealousy can be tough for some people as they are unable to control their wrong thoughts. Jealousy will never help a person grow emotionally. It will stop you from being the actual you. Often insecurity will cause jealousy into a relationship. They are inter-linked.

There are some major tips which will help a person over come jealousy, like being honest to your own self, developing self confidence, not over reacting to things that are mentally disturbing you, becoming more independent in other words not depending much on others for a reaction.

One must focus on the qualities and things that he/she has rather than looking at your faults and what you don’t have. Self confidence and self esteem are the two most important factors which can take you to a wrong path of life or to the right path. One must always make the right use of them. When dealing with jealousy, one must always communicate. You should always tell the person about your feelings. It will help them avoid the things which are mentally disturbing you. Jealousy can be temporary or even serious. Most of people experience the feeling of jealousy at some point of life.

Whenever one is jealous of any person or thing, he would only react in the same manner. As in like he might get angry, frustrated, depressed, become more sad and even start looking at the negative side of life. Always remember only to start dealing with jealousy is the first step to the solutions of all the problems raised by jealousy.
